Manufacturing Engineer Job Description:

Job Description:
Our Client has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer to support its growing operation. Applicants must possess a rigorous Manufacturing Engineering background from within the Precision Machining Industry, with a proven track record as a successful Manufacturing Engineer in a job shop environment, and a minimum of ten (10) years of relevant work experience. The successful candidate will be a team player and will bring with him/her an extensive array of engineering skills, as well as a high proficiency in estimating, job processing, and production support.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Ability to read and accurately interpret drawings, process sheets, and related technical data
- Ability to process jobs for the Production Floor, and to optimize processes for cost control
- Perform quoting and estimating duties for complex components (processing RFQ’s)
- Design Tooling & Fixturing to be used in CNC Manufacturing process
- Maintain production support by providing the “how to” expertise with the operation
- Must have strong computer skills, and a desire to communicate with Customers

Critical Selection Factors: The successful candidate must be an aggressive competitor and technically superior in their field. Excellent communication skills are a must. Also they must have a strong understanding of precision manufacturing processes, be proficient in Shop Math, have the ability to work independently, and be an expert in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).

Required Skills for Manufacturing Engineer Job:
UNDERSTANDING OF PRECISION MANUFACTURING PROCESSES
PROFICIENT IN SHOP MATH
EXPERT IN GD&T
10 YEARS EXPERIENCE
