Description:
Work closely with the COO, Unicorn Capital Saudi Arabia (UCSA - currently fulfilling regulatory & operational requirements to commence operations) and Head Office Bahrain - provide stock analysis, product development and technical support to drive the development and management of UCSA’s Asset Management activities.

Unicorn Capital Saudi Arabia (UCSA) is a subsidiary of Unicorn Investment Bank B.S.C. (c) and is currently fulfilling the regulatory and operational requirements to commence operation.

This exciting new role presents the opportunity for an experienced Asset Management professional with a public equities specialisation to work closely with the COO in Riyadh and the Asset Management team in Bahrain targeting investment opportunities in the Saudi equity market.

The succesful applicant will participate in;

Duties:
• developing and implementing a business plan for Listed Securities (equity, Sukuk's, balanced portfolio) as well as structured products

• coordination of Asset Management (AM) activities with the COO, KSA and Head of AM in Bahrain

• Develop discretionary portfolio mandates, coordinating with the AM Team in Bahrain on the asset allocation process

• Providing research notes on companies on the Saudi Stock Exchange to support the Listed Equities Team in Bahrain stock picking

• Develop an understanding of market trends, dynamics & competitive landscape to support the Team in Bahrain in the structuring process

• Build UCSA’s Asset Management business by supporting the development of a customer franchise in Saudi Arabia and tailoring products to meet their needs

• Establish relationships with local financial institutions and investment houses for the purpose of identifying distribution networks to facilitate marketing activities

• Provide reporting on the portfolio(s)

• Keep abreast of requirements for systems support including Middle Office & Back Office capabilities, performance management and comprehensive data/information review

• Work extensively across a broad range of stakeholders including; Clients, Strategic partners, Brokers, Financial institutions, Lawyers, Regulatory authorities, advertising agencies

Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a successful track record in investment and fund management and sound educational/professional qualifications (MBA, CFA, or investment certification)

Together with 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in either investment or commercial banks (regional or international), international brokers or fund managers - preferably in line management. In addition you should have;

• Strong business management and marketing skills.

• Diverse marketing background: Product structuring & management, promotion, distribution, pricing & research.

• Middle Eastern experience and network of contacts.

• Fluency in Arabic and in English

Our client is one of the largest and leading financial institutions in the Middle East and the third largest in terms of assets in Saudi Arabia. The Bank currently manages over SR70 Billion in assets with a consistent pattern of annual growth. It maintains one of the largest banking networks with over 190 Branches, 600+ ATMs and 3900+ Point of Sale Terminals.

The Business Analyst will be the person who, under supervision of the Change Manager, identifies and analyses all the bank processes that are affected by EMV. Also, new processes need to be identified and tailored to fit the business's needs (such as key management process, scripting, batch to external perso bureau etc.).

The Business Analyst needs to have experience in the field of EMV. Same as for the Change Manager, the Business Analyst needs to have full and comprehensive knowledge of daily operations in a retail banking environment from an issuing, acquiring, and customer service perspective.

The tasks of the Business Analyst include but are not limited to:
* liaising with the respective process owners to analyze the impact of EMV migration
* discuss with relevant business owners the process of implementing changes and monitoring changes
* agree with business process owners the acceptance criteria when the change management activities can be considered 'accepted'
* work very closely with the different implementation teams (debit issuing, siebel) to determine the workflow of EMV branch issuance and other operational processes
* provide weekly comprehensive reports to the Change Manager
* determine the need for training and provide scope, coverage, outline, and content for training materials
* provide scope, outline, and content for marketing materials
* determine the availability of current business process documentation and perform a GAP analysis for the technical writer
* Make sure (under responsibility and supervision of the Change Manager) that all documentation is accepted by the Bank standards office.

The Business Analyst will be assigned full-time to the EMV Change Management project.

Scope of Work:
The role of the Senior Business Analyst will be to develop detailed business requirements for the Bank's projects in accordance with the bank*s standard methodology. He will be required to oversee, review and Quality Assures work done by other business analysts and ensures the deliverables are in line with the overall business architecture.

Specifically, he will be required to:

* Ensure that agreed business requirements are compliant with the overall Bank*s Technology and Business strategy.
* Manage the process of establishing the business requirements for new systems or enhancing existing systems and proposing efficient technical and commercial solutions to satisfy these requirements.
* Identify new systems interfacing and integration requirements.
* Liaise with project teams during the development and implementation phases.
* Coordinate with vendors and related IT Departments on all project activities.
* Design reports for new or enhanced systems in line with the bank*s standards.
* Develop high level design based on the available high level technical design.
* Review and Sign off the documents prepared by business analysts. Ensure that deliverables are consistent with good technical and business practice and identify where possible improvements or efficiencies can be achieved which may improve resource utilization or reduce costs.
* Provide support in the development of testing strategies, cycles and methodologies to ensure that the new or revised systems comply with the functional definitions and that these enhancements integrate correctly to all related systems.
* Identify data conversion requirements and participate in data mapping, data cleansing and data conversion tasks.
* Maintain a high level of knowledge of best technical and business practices within the Technology industry as well as an understanding of the tools available within to deliver technology solutions.
* Evaluate solutions/products proposed by vendors from functionality point of view.
* Provide training to Business users of the new system.

Qualifications:
Min B.Sc. in Computer Science or Information Technology or related field

* Strong business experience in the Banking / Financial sector.
* Experience of 10+ years in the IT industry, with at least 7 years business analysis experience.
Experience:
As a prerequisite the candidate should possess the following attributes:

Knowledge in:
* Project lifecycle * international standard methodology
