I have completed BS Engineering. I have Experience in basic design and manufacturing datum development and its effect in manufacturing processes, CNC machining programming/troubleshooting in Manufacturing Company with the tasks, duties and responsibilities focusing on:
• Lead the manufacturing process development of centrifugal air compressor components including: Impellers, diffusers, bearings and coolers
• Support Product Engineering and Aftermarket customers as the lead Manufacturing Engineer
• Review processes and tooling and identify opportunities to improve productivity, cost and quality
• Interface with external manufacturing and casting suppliers to ensure quality and timing
• Support Operations to address manufacturing, tooling and gaging issues.
• Lead manufacturing engineering involvement in New Product Development processes, to ensure optimal designs for manufacturability
• Engineer advanced manufacturing technology machining and assembly cell concepts to improve productivity, quality and cost
• Develop specifications for all new machinery and take responsibility for the entire machine procurement process including: request for quote, supplier line up, quote recaps, supplier selection, project management, acceptance, installation and runoff
• Complete runoff of all new processes with CPK analysis
• Direct the design of robust part fixturing.
• Conduct periodic review of existing tooling, fixtures, and gages and define / implement cost effective replacements as technology requires.
• Provide manufacturing expertise and leadership within the manufacturing engineering and operations departments
In addition to my extensive experience, I have Strong leadership in engineering principles to develop robust manufacturing processes, GD&T knowledge with detailed blueprint reading ability to quickly assess manufacturing issues related to design and tolerancing, Experience in Machining: milling, grinding, turning, fixturing, datum processing/control, tooling and gauging, cell processing, Experience in Manufacturing disciplines including: PFMEAs, Quality Control Plans, DFA, DFM, Capability assessment and experience in Data analysis and assessment ability, Impeller, turbos, gear processing, ProE, ProMan, NREC software and programming knowledge. My broad background makes me an excellent candidate for Manufacturing Engineer position.
