I have Bachelor’s degree in Quantitative Business Analysis with APICS/CPIM certification. I have 15 years of related experience and 5 years managing others in an inventory and production planning role with the tasks, duties and responsibilities focusing on :
• Foster and build strong, value-adding relationships with internal customers and key interfacing organizations including Customer Service, Project Engineering, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing.
• Direct the management of planning, stocking, and issuing of inventory (Raw Materials and Finished Goods) within all global warehouse facilities.
• Oversee development of standardized material usage forecasts and inventory strategies to ensure that on-time delivery and inventory objectives are met globally.
• Build inventory organization that will work with inventory accounting and product engineering to review and disposition excess and obsolete inventory, as well as identify uses across the market for this inventory to minimize losses.
• Accountable for inventory accuracy in all warehouses.
• Oversee development and executing of a cycle count program globally.
• Oversee development and maintenance of an internal material handling process.
• Oversee development and maintenance of an effective housekeeping policy.
• Champion a continuous improvement culture that will identify and implement cost reduction and process improvement initiatives consistent with customer, Company, Business Unit, and site goals and objectives.
• Oversee global process improvement teams that will implement recommendations to optimize functional efficiency through use of SAP.
• Establish and execute processes within the department that are consistent with Company Guidelines, Business Unit Policies and Procedures, and Controller Manual, as well as inventory and supply management best practices.
• Oversee establishment, maintenance, and reporting of key inventory management performance metrics per site, and for each Business Unit.
• Coordinate inventory management best practices between Business Unit regions.
• Ensure site compliance to all relevant regulations (including NRC, NUPIC, ISO, and OSHA).
In addition to my extensive experience, I have Knowledge of current ISO, OSHA, NRC, and NUPIC regulations, strong analytical skills; effective written, verbal, and inter-personal communication skills; strong leadership, teamwork and organizational skills; ability to exercise sound planning and business decision-making skills in a multi-tasking environment; computer literate, and have proficiency in Microsoft Office; and, strong knowledge of Excel and Access, SAP or other ERP experience, with specific knowledge of MRP, inventory management, forecasting, and/or purchasing, Knowledge of system-based Material Master creation, Bill Of Materials creation, and Workflow. My broad background makes me an excellent candidate for Inventory & Warehousing Director position.
