CARE International Indonesia, an International non-Government Organization, is implementing Recovery Programme in the tsunami hit areas of Banda Aceh, Aceh Besar and Simeuleu. The programme aims to rehabilitate tsunami affected population of tha three districts. Care International Indonesia is presently seeking the following positions to be based in Banda Aceh.
SAFETY AND SECURITY MANAGER
RESPONSIBITITIES : he/she will work closely with the PSU coordinator and fleet Manager to ensure the safety of CARE staff and security of all premises ; Aids senior management in the analysis of incident, trends and lessons learned on security and protection issues ; provide and/or recommend appropriate training for security staff and other employees, i.e fist aid : advise on site selection for office building/logistical/residential accommodation. Ensure appropriate steps are taken safeguard office premises, equipment and residential property (guards, locks, lighting, and fire equipment).
SKILL AND QUALIFICATION : He/she must be Bachelor degree in relevant study and/or a minimum of five years of work experience in a relevant field; CERT II and III as well as general SSO training, 1st aid kit training; Previous NGO experience in difficult working conditions, preferably in a emergency setting; Experience and understanding of a multicultural working environment; Advanced verbal and written English and Bahasa Indonesia skill; Advanced computer skills in Ms word and excel.
