The Ethical Tea Partnership is a non profit organization, established to work in partnership with producers to demonstrate that good working conditions exist within the tea industry.
The ETP seeks qualified candidates to fill the position of :
Regional Manager, Indonesia & Papua New Guinea
This position presents an exciting opportunity to work with international tea companies and to be instrumental in working to improve working conditions in tea factories and gardens in Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
Qualifications:
At least ten years work experience, five of which should be in Regional Management in the Agricultural Sector or manufacturing with an organization that has an established regional network.
She / He must have :
Professional experience in Business, Agriculture or a Social Science. A Masters Degree is an added advantage
Proven delivery of effective and practical solutions to complex and sensitive issues through building understanding and engaging the support of a variety of key stakeholders
Native Bahasa speaker and fluent in spoken and written English
Excellent communication and training / capacity building skills, strong leadership and diplomatic
Project management skills, ability to work largely unsupervised and on their own initiative
A successful track record of delivering projects similar to the ETP in organizational scope
Experience in the Corporate Responsibility arena and in the tea or another agricultural sector would be an advantage
IT literate (web, office based systems and Customer Relationship Management System (CRM)
Enthusiasm, Energy Creativity
The successful candidate will be hired on a consultancy basis. This contract will be an initial 1 year fixed-term contract with the possibility of renewal. A competitive salary will be offered.
