CAMPAIGNER

Greenpeace Southeast Asia is looking for Campaigners to lead, organize and implement thw organization’s program on Climate Change, Energy and Forest in Indonesia.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
1.Excellent networking skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of organizations and communities
2.Excellent strategic skills in analyzing and planning campaign strategies and demonstrated experience in implementing public or political campaigns
3.Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree preferred or equivalent experience working on environmental or human rights issues
4.Knowledge of environmental issue and their associated social impact
5.Excellent spoken and written Bahasa Indonesia and able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
6.Demonstrated campaigning experience in an environmental or human rights organization preferred
7.Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team
8.Proven experience in directing a project from conception to completion
9.Preferred skill include experience in key program areas: public speaking, community organizing, strategic planning and mobilizing people around an issue
10.Commitment to non-violent direct action as a means of effecting changes

MEDIA CAMPAIGNER

The Media Campaigner is responsible for ensuring high quality media outreach in Indonesia for Greenpeace

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
1.Experience in media/communications work and/or journalism highly desrable
2.Proficiency in written and spoken Bahasa Indonesia an English
3.Creative and has an eye for details
4.Knowledge and background on environmental/social issue preferred
5.Mature, hardworking, confident, enthusiastic, proactive, and team player
6.Able to travel around Indonesia and other countries
