Is implementing a programme of sustainable landscape management for the Ulu Masen Forest, integrating forest conservation, livehood development and environtmentallysound post Tsunami reconstruction and is seeking applications for the following position:
FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION MANAGER
The FFI component of the Aceh Forest and Environment Project (AFEP), being implemented in partnership with the Leuser International Foundation (LIF) is a 4.5 year, USD 7.8 million project funded by the Multi Donor Trsut Fund for Aceh and North Sumatra and supervised by the World Bank as Partner Agency. The project’s objective is to mitigate negative impacts of post-tsunami reconstruction on the forests of Aceh.
Main Objective
To ensure that the financial and administrative management of the Aceh Forest and Environment Project of Aceh fully meets operational, donor and FFI requirements
General tasks
1.Manage the financial accounting and reporting functions for expenditures incurred during project implementation. The financial accounting arrangement should meet generally acceptable accounting standards and be adequate to facilitate generation of financial statements of the project, as required by the World Bank’s financial management policies and guidelines, covering all project resources and activities.
2.To maintain Project Management Manual during project implementation, socialize PMM and assist its implementation
3.Ensure absolute integrity, high quality, and efficiency in executing financial transactions
Reporting
The Finance Manager will report directly to the International Finance Controller in Cambridge, through the FFI Regional Director for Asia and Pacific
Salary package
Remuneration for this demanding and challenging post will be between the range of 18 to Rp 25 Million, depending on previous position and years of work experience.
Duty station
FFI Office, Banda Aceh
Required skills / experience
a) 5-10 years accounting and administration experience; b) International NGO and development cooperation experience; c) Familiarity with Indonesian tax regulations; d) Liaison and communication skills / team player; e) Management and supervision skills.
