Business Component: Air Traffic Services (ATO), Technical Services, Technical Operations, Western Service Area - Alaska, Fairbanks District: FOX System Support Center (FOX SSC) or Southwest Alaska System Support Center (SWA SSC)

MAJOR DUTIES:
Serves as the Administrative Coordinator in the FOX SSC(Fairbanks) or the SWA SSC (Anchorage). Has sole responsibility in the SSC for clerical support, administrative assistance, budget, and logistics services. Provides administrative guidance and advice to supervisor and employees on matters pertaining to the employee benefits, etc. Answers inquiries and furnishes information of a non-technical nature. Applies analytical processes and software applications to provide the SSC supervisor budget formulation information and options in developing and maintaining fiscal records such as DELPHI, REGIS, LDR/Castle and charts related to overtime, supply, service contracts, travel and transportation. Provides data entry and record maintenance of the small purchase credit card program using the US Bank software. Maintains and uses SSC databases to develop and coordinate various reports required for upward reporting to the Districts. Provides incoming and outgoing mail service for the SSC Office.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Candidates must have one year or 52 weeks specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility comparable to the next lower grade in the Federal service (FV-D, FG 5/6). Specialized experience is work which is directly related to the position to be filled which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position.

Must be able to type 40 words per minute based on a 5 minute sample with three or fewer errors.

4. Ability to coordinate varied administrative projects simultaneously.
5. Ability to convey non-technical or administrative information to a variety of audiences in meetings, presentations or briefings.
6. Ability to operate computers and computer programs to track and monitor administrative programs.
