About the Position: This position is located at Directorate of Information Management, on Historic Main Post, Fort Riley, Kansas.
In this position you will have the opportunity to become part of a fast paced customer orientated Visual Information Office. Also provides the opportunity to have a fulfilling career preparing various types of graphics in support of the 1st Infantry Division.

Major Duties:
Plans, designs, makes layouts, and produces visual presentations and printed material such as charts, graphs, viewgraphs, slides, posters, book and manual covers, and signs. The employee works as a member of a team, helps in developing new work methods, researches new equipment and maintains computer graphic equipment in good working order. Creation of materials requires the operation and manipulation of several computer systems to include hardware, software, and other output devises. Serves as photographer as needed, in both studio and field situations, performs all related functions of a custom photographic facility, utilizing digital cameras, computer programs and printers to produce professional photographic and or video materials, that are aesthetically pleasing and functionally correct. Provides in-house reproduction and assist in planning, coordinating, and determining operational needs for color laser reproduction and copying services from the Training Support Center.
Qualifications:
• This position will be filled at either the GS-05, GS-07 or GS-09 level. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: To qualify at the GS-05 level, applicants must possess 3 years of general experience which was equivalent to at least the GS-04 level. General experience is further defined as experience that demonstrated the skills and creativity needed to use the tools or equipment (art media, graphic software) associated with the position. To be qualifying, the work must ahve involved visual communication of information or the application of the principles of artistic design. Specialized Experience: To qualify at the GS-07 level, applicants must possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 level. To qualify at the GS-09 level, applicants must possess 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level. Specialized experience is further defined as experience planning the preparation and use of photographs, illustration, drawings, and other art work, charts, diagrams, dioramas, maps, slides, overlays, to include graphic software applications and other kinds of visual material for use in communicating through visual means or other work typically in or related to the position being filled.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• A medical examination is required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid stateside driver's license.
• Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
• Direct Deposit of Pay is Required.
