Position Purpose:
Focus daily operations. Performs data entry, processing, reconciling, and data maintenance tasks of a recurring nature. Work requires close attention to detail. Work is performed with clearly defined parameters and includes specialized training. Exceptions to processing are reviewed with Team Lead or Supervisor to ensure overall compliance with accepted business practices and policies. Elements of risk are managed through operational reviews, system checks, and adherence to procedures.
Key Accountabilities:
• Process standardized or routine transactions within specific area or department.
• Process balancing entries via ADP and DTC applications
• Verify, and input information/data into computer files, databases or systems, or in record retention systems.
• Respond to questions from other departments both in and outside of Operations, retail personnel, correspondent firms, and form management staff.
• Route escalated questions to the appropriate resources following established departmental policies.
• Understand department procedures and required accountabilities in the area or department in which the incumbent works.
• Reduce risk by suggesting process changes and modifications as appropriate.
• Able to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced, pressured environment. Good communication skills with ability to work effectively with variety of personalities.
Job Requirements: (Knowledge/ Experience):
Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of job-related experience or business/technical college.
• Effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability work independently and within a team environment.
Preferred:
• Pervious experience in the securities or banking industry.
• Business office, professional customer service, or accounting/bookkeeping experience.
• Proficient computer skills in Windows-based software products such as Outlook, Work, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
